Larson-Danielson Announces new Project Development Manager - December 12, 2008

Tony Oss recently joined Larson-Danielson Construction Company of LaPorte, Indiana as a Project Development Manager. Tony brings over 9 years of commercial construction experience and has a bachelor degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University. Tony resides in LaPorte,IN with his wife Jaime and son Andrew.

Larson-Danielson Construction, a local contractor since 1908, has become a widely recognized contractor in the Midwest specializing in general contracting, design/build, and construction management projects.

 

 

Larson-Danielson Receives Awards for Two Notable Projects - December 12. 2008

Larson-Danielson Construction Company of La Porte recently received two project awards at the Best of 2008 Awards ceremony sponsored by Midwest Construction Magazine/McGraw Hill Construction. The awards banquet was held at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Chicago with many of the Midwest’s most prominent contractors in attendance. Entries included projects from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and eastern Missouri.

Larson-Danielson’s first project receiving an award under the Public Works category was the Centennial Park Facility recently completed in Munster, Indiana. Once a former landfill site, the park now features a 24,0000 s.f. banquet/clubhouse facility and entertainment pavilion overlooking a man-made lake. The project has been submitted for LEED Silver certification.

The company’s second project receiving an award under the Residential/Hospitality category was the new Duncan Residence Hall project at the University of Notre Dame. This 68,482 s.f., three-story dormitory is the first residence hall to be constructed on campus in more than 10 years. The building represents a return to the Collegiate Gothic architecture predominating on the campus
