Because of this versatility, Larson-Danielson continues to experience growth and is looking to expand the IT staff by hiring an Information Technology Assistant as either a part-time or full-time position.

Reporting: This person will report to the IT Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to office and field employees
- Support end-user’s software issues including, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows and Office, Sage Estimating, Accounting and Project Management, Bluebeam and Citrix Files cloud solution
- Monitor server, network, firewall, and internet health and security
- Assist with network, server, and application updates
- Maintain Exchange 365 accounts and security
- Configure, support, and maintain new computers and mobile devices for end users
- Maintain all copiers, printers, and peripherals
- Assist with analyzing requirements for the computer and network systems technology and review available vendor offerings to recommend computer and network architecture solutions to the IT Manager
- Report on all work performed via Help Desk system
- Occasional weekend/evening support to perform network/server software upgrades
Desired Skills Experience and Personal Characteristics
- High School diploma, or equivalent, is required
- Knowledge of Windows and Android operating systems is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and knowledge of Microsoft client-server and cloud technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with desire and ability to learn new technology and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, good documentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas
- Excellent customer service and a team-oriented outlook for a fast-paced environment
