Careers: Senior Construction Project Manager

Formed in 1908, Larson-Danielson is a Design-Build General Contractor located in LaPorte Indiana. Larson-Danielson’s ability to successfully offer a conscientious turnkey solution to clients in the Design-Build arena, as well a performing General Contracting, operating as a Construction Manager and self-performing many trade packages, distinguishes Larson-Danielson as a versatile and adaptive company. Because of this versatility, Larson-Danielson continues to experience growth and is looking to add an experienced, hard-working Senior Project Manager.

Reporting: This person will report to the Director of Project Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction teams of various sizes
• Estimate construction projects and change orders
• Create, monitor and proactively keep projects on budget
• Make monthly cost forecasts

Desired Skills Experience and Personal Characteristics:

• Experienced senior project manager with a decade of experience in managing multiple projects and/or large projects (> $20 million)
• Estimating experience
• Strong computer skills
• Scheduling experience
• Strong ability to interact with owners with varying knowledge of the building process and walk them through the design process
• A team player
• Must be able to handle multiple concurrent projects and work independently with minimal supervision
• A strong sense of value in making design decisions
• Have a well-rounded knowledge of construction
• Ability to work 50 hours per week on a regular basis
