Since its inception in 1996, Facility Services Group has been devoted to our customers’ smaller projects. With our immediate access to the vast resources of Larson-Danielson Construction, we offer complete construction services for smaller projects with the quality and service of one of the largest general contractors in Northwest Indiana.
Chesterton High School Orchestra Pit
Facility Services Group completed the demolition and renovation of the orchestra pit at Chesterton High School in Chesterton, IN. Our workers removed 450 square feet of the existing 18″ – 20″ concrete floor and hand-excavated 30 cubic yards of saturated clay by hand. Then, they poured a new concrete floor and Gala Systems installed a state-of-the-art automated lift system.
Stone Lake ADA Kayak Launch
Facility Services Group was the contractor for the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department‘s Stone Lake accessible small watercraft launch. The ADA kayak launch is located at Soldier’s Memorial Park and was completed in 2021. The project included pouring the walkway, paving the parking area, and installing the launch.
Purdue Northwest Bell Tower Base
The Facility Services Group was called upon to provide and install the concrete foundation for Purdue Northwest Bell Tower in Hammond, IN. The project included site excavation, concrete foundation, integrated steel anchors, integrated lighting components, and electrical rough-ins needed prior to concrete installation.
Wayne leads our Facility Services Group division. He is an experienced construction professional with over 40 years of industry experience and 28 years with Larson-Danielson.
Dan has been the manager of the East Division of Facility Services Group since 1996. He has 40 years of experience in the construction industry and has been with Larson-Danielson for 28 years.
Chad is a project manager for Facility Services Group. He has 23 year of construction industry experience and has been with Larson-Danielson for four years.
