SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Larson-Danielson is seeking a senior project manager with a decade of experience in managing multiple projects and/or large projects (over$20 million).

Desired Skills Experience and Personal Characteristics

  • Estimating experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Scheduling experience
  • Strong ability to interact with owners with varying knowledge of the building process and walk them through the design process
  • A team player
  • Must be able to handle multiple concurrent projects and work independently with minimal supervision
  • A strong sense of value in making design decisions
  • Have a well-rounded knowledge of construction
  • Ability to work 50 hours per week on a regular basis

IT ASSISTANT

IT ASSISTANT

The Information Technology Assistant provides the first line of technical support on all IT issues for the company.  Support requests will be received either by phone, Email or through the L-D Helpdesk ticketing system and updated accordingly. This position may be full-time or part-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report on all work performed via Help Desk system.
  • Provide end-user support to all office and field staff.
  • Maintain computer system hardware and software, including routine system updates.
  • Maintain all office peripherals including printers and copiers.
  • Monitor daily backups and restore as necessary.
  • Configure new workstations for end-users as required.
  • Configure and support mobile phone devices.
  • Monitor and maintain firewall and internet connections and traffic.
  • Maintain network infrastructure including but not limited to switches, access points and battery backup systems.
  • Perform project data archives.
  • Research, test and recommend new hardware, software and technologies as business needs require

FSG PROJECT MANAGER

FSG PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction teams of various sizes
  • Estimate construction projects and change orders
  • Create, monitor and proactively keep projects on budget
  • Make monthly cost forecasts

ESTIMATOR

ESTIMATOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and addendums
  • Accurately estimate labor hours, material quantities and equipment needs, and then price accordingly for concrete, masonry, earthwork and carpentry for hard-bid projects, as well as, design-build projects
  • Solicit subcontractor/material supplier pricing for all divisions of work per project requirements
  • Be capable of competitively bidding commercial construction projects ranging in size from $500K-$5M or above

Desired Skills Experience and Personal Characteristics

  • Must be a team player, detail-oriented with strong computer skills and be able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial estimating of both public and private projects
  • Demonstrate prioritization, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to interact with Director of Estimating, Estimating Manager, Architects, Designers and Owners
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willing to work 45+ hours per week on a regular basis
